Adelinde

My name is Adelinde Cornelissen and I live in Nijkerk, Landgoed Balkenschoten. Since the age of six I have been riding. I have been riding ponies up till the age of eighteen. Those ponies were bred by my parents and I broke them myself and started to train them The First one being Ayesha, a small pony of only 1.36m. I ended up being Dutch Champion twice in de z2 dressage. After Ayesha I rode her son , Whitsun, and his half brother Mr Pride. With both ponies I won several titles and the latter also became Dutch Champion!

In the meantime I got my first horse, Innovation.  Beside z2 dressage , we also made it to Z jumping and we did eventing. Nowadays Innovation is stabled at Stal Mansour where he gets even more variation: they ride on him while playing the drums, trumpet etc… , he has played in a couple of films and series and he also takes part in several festivities, such as “Sinterklaas”… A wonderful life I’d say!!

Besides Innovation I rode several other horses up to Z2 dressage.. and then I got Parzival, now Jerich Parzival. He is a jazz offspring. In 2004 we became Dutch Champion in Z2 dressage and then moved on.. 2004 outdoor: Reserve Champion ZZ-Licht, 2005 Reserve Champion ZZ-Zwaar, 2006 4th Small Tour, 2007 Ducth Champion Grand Prix. During my First international show in Falsterbo we ended up second after national favourite Jan Brink and Briar. 2008 we became Reserve Champion , ended up second in Aachen, was reserve during the Hong Kong Olympics, and won three World Cup qualifiers in a row!! During the WC final in 2009, las Vegas Parzival got injured , but we were back in August for the European Chmapionships and won team gold, Gold in Special and Silver in Freestyle!!  Then again the World Cup qualifiers, and the final in ’s Hertogenbosch: we ended up second behind Edward Gal and Totilas. The World Eqeustrian Games in Kentucky were sad, because Parzival bit his tongue and was not allowed to compete anymore…  But the revenge came in the World cup qualifiers: 5 out of 5! He won everything this season! Now end of April the final in Leipzig…..

I hope that I will be able to ride many more shows with Jerich Parzival and show his talents!
